Gambian Owl has extensive experience in the insurance, finance and technology industries in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Having used and supported a wide range of legacy actuarial modelling solutions, we identified that their outdated technologies had reached their performance limits. Software vendors were not motivated to improve their solutions, leaving it up to insurers to build their solutions to gain minimal performance improvements.

 

Meanwhile, after each financial crisis, insurance regulators have been exponentially increasing their reporting and calculation demands on insurers. We could foresee that the divergence in legacy software performance and calculation demands would soon leave insurers without the ability to meet their regulatory requirements. To provide insurers with a modern solution that can scale to meet current and future requirements, we have created Zeus, a revolution in actuarial modelling for the cloud computing era.
